Commenting rules

One rule matters most: argue with me, not with each other. Everything below follows from it.

What is welcome

Disagreement, a different reading of the same match, a correction when I get something wrong. Any language you are comfortable in — Polish and English sit side by side here.

What gets hidden

• Insults aimed at another commenter, the author, or a player.
• Racism, homophobia and the rest of that family. No discussion.
• Spam, advertising and links that have nothing to do with the post.
• Someone else’s private data.
• Deliberately stirring a fight rather than having a conversation.

How moderation works

Your comment appears immediately — there is no queue. I read afterwards. A comment that breaks the rules gets hidden, not deleted: the conversation keeps its shape and nothing disappears from the record.

There is no appeal procedure, because it would be theatre for a one-person site. If you think I got it wrong, write to me and I will reconsider.

Logging in

You need a Facebook account to comment. Not out of fondness for Facebook, but because an anonymous comment box fills up with bots within a week.
